He strongly believes that any perceived achievement gaps can be addressed by closing the opportunity and expectation gaps through collaborative efforts of adults. Patrick’s passion lies in helping all students achieve at high levels, and he firmly advocates for preparing them to be college- and career-ready after completing high school.

Brett Bowers serves as AVID's Vice President of School District Leadership. Passionate about serving all students as they progress on their path toward college and career readiness, Brett looks to inspire and equip school and district staffs to work together for the greater good. With a strong belief in the collective power of educators, Brett strives to bring focus to the work of school improvement, find simplicity within the dynamic nature of education, and help groups of any size build their capacity to reach ambitious goals for themselves and the students in their charge.
