<p>Annie is a respected journalist and skilled communicator with over 25 years&rsquo; experience writing for publications in the UK and Australia, and leading, planning and implementing marketing and communication strategies for both profit and non-profit sectors.</p> <p>She also has experience in multiple sectors as a researcher, editor, content and campaign creator, as well as delivering special projects such as ghost-writing autobiographies and managing company rebrands.</p> <p>In the pandemic, Annie was part of the Care Provider Alliance core comms team, and in 2022, the team was a finalist in the inaugural &lsquo;Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care&rsquo; awards programme, under the category of Girl Power.</p> <p>As well as working with sector organisations which include the Care Provider Alliance and the National Care Forum, Annie is also a volunteer Trustee of The Shrewsbury Ark, a charity providing day centre services for homeless and vulnerable people in Shropshire.</p>

Jess is the Director of Programs for Code.org

<p>Victoria is a healthcare technology futurist, thriving on understanding businesses and creating new commercial models, and her approach enables new thinking that delivers results. Her experience spans housing, social care and healthcare, and she has worked with numerous organisations from start-up to PLC in size.</p> <p>Over the last five years, Victoria has been the programme manager for the Care Provider Alliance with the Department of Health and Social Care on programmes of work, developing strategic policy and communication regarding the EU exit and COVID-19 pandemic. Delivering multimillion pound programmes at board level, for voluntary, public and private sector organisations, her knowledge and ability to guide complex relationships provides immediate benefits and long-term sustainability.</p> <p>Alongside actively being a member of numerous Executive Boards, following holding the position of Chair at a small education and training Non-Governmental Organisation since 2014, in April 2019 Victoria was appointed Chair of the Trustees of Age UK&nbsp;Lancashire.</p>

<p>Caroline has worked with the health and social care sector since she qualified as a solicitor in 2005.&nbsp; She provides regulatory advice to health and social care providers including care homes, children&rsquo;s homes, home care services and private hospitals.</p> <p>Much of the work that Caroline does arises out of adverse findings by a provider&rsquo;s regulator, such as CQC and Ofsted, and therefore the matters are often crisis-driven.&nbsp; Caroline provides carefully crafted advice to help minimise negative outcomes for the provider.&nbsp; She regularly produces articles on sector relevant matter and voices her opinion on the issues facing the sector.</p> <p>Caroline has an executive MBA which gives her insight into how regulatory matters can impact on the wider commercial issues that providers face.</p>

<p>Sara has an extensive background and experience in healthcare, with a long-standing commitment to working with older people in her profession of Registered Nurse. Her earlier roles in the NHS and Social Care have equipped her with valuable skills and insights into healthcare.&nbsp;</p> Sara has been actively involved in the care home sector since 1991, working her way up from care assistant, through staff nurse, to Registered Manager.&nbsp; She has worked in central clinical leadership team roles since 2005 and has been instrumental in deploying digital systems into care homes.

Alyson McKechnie‑Vale is the Business and Operations Director at Abbotsford Care, the family-owned provider of seven care homes across Fife, Scotland. She rejoined the organisation in 2012. Alyson brings a relationship-based leadership style, nurturing both residents and staff through compassion and community-building. With a background rooted in the arts, she leverages creative and facilitation skills to drive innovative, sustainable growth and embed a “family approach” culture. Passionate about co-design and empowerment, she continues to champion person-centred care and staff engagement across the homes and the wider sector.
