Andreas Dondera has been working as a police officer in the field of cybercrime for more than 25 years. After many years as a cybercrime investigator and IT forensic expert, he is currently head of the Central Cybercrime Contact Centre of the Hamburg State Criminal Police Office. The ZACs of the federal states serve as the first point of contact for companies in cases of cyber attacks, but also provide free counselling and awareness training.

Vladyslav is the Director of IT-Security engineering at About You – the fastest-growing e-commerce startup in Europe and the first unicorn company in Hamburg. With almost a decade of experience in IT, he utilizes that experience to protect the business from cyber threats while maintaining a high rate of growth development.

Marc ‘vanHauser’ Heuse has been active in IT security for over 25 years and carries out security analyses for DAX companies and international firms to uncover vulnerabilities in their systems. He founded the research group ‘The Hacker's Choice’, which has published a large number of well-known security tools and information. He is also co-founder of the development group AFLplusplus, which has developed the most renowned fuzzing software in the world. He has made a name for himself as the author of numerous well-known security programmes, including Hydra, AFL++, SuSEfirewall and many others. He works in Berlin as team leader for Code Assurance at Security Research Labs GmbH.

Dr. Tim Sattler is CISO at Jungheinrich AG, based in Hamburg. Since 2012, the doctor of physics has been responsible for the group's ISMS. Dr. Sattler has more than 25 years of professional experience in information security, ranging from IT security consulting to information security management. He is also a member of the international Board of Directors of the professional association ISACA.

Isabelle Ewald joined BDO Germany in January 2024 – initially as a Manager in the CISO Office, focusing on awareness and security culture. Since summer 2026, she has been part of the company's strategic transformation management team. As an long-standing podcaster and author of Kommunikation in der Cyberkrise (O'Reilly, 2025), she is a sought-after voice at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, and societal change – in organizations, at universities, and on stage. Her previous professional experience includes Axel Springer SE, Otto Group, and Dataport.

Catrin Schröder-Jaross is like the female nerd version of MacGyver. But instead of using chewing gum and paper clips, she works with lines of code and server logs. As a child, she wrote her first programs on the computer or immersed herself in "Day of the Tentacle." Her passion for IT became her career path: after stints at renowned companies like mobile.de and OTTO, she gained experience in numerous Hamburg start-ups. Today, she works as a project manager at adesso SE, with a particular focus on retail, cloud, and cybersecurity. Even her free time is digitally oriented: Catrin teaches at the ReDi School of Digital Integration, where she supports young talents with migration backgrounds. Additionally, she co-hosts the podcast "Mind The Tech - Cyber, Crime, Gesellschaft," where she discusses the impact of digitalization on society and exciting cybercrime cases.

Stefan van Eijden has been the Head of IT Operations & Infrastructure at the Hamburg Port Authority AöR (HPA) since September 2012. As a IT manager in the direct reporting line to the CIO, he is responsible for strategic decisions on the IT infrastructure as well as for the security and stability of IT production. His areas of expertise include the complete IT infrastructure, starting with HPA's own fiber optic backbone networks in the port of Hamburg, through to the operation of two fully redundant and virtualized data centers. Furthermore, Stefan van Eijden is responsible for the integration of cloud services, communication platforms and the operation of workplace solutions. For several years, the focus has been on the area of cyber security, for which Stefan van Eijden is operationally responsible for the HPA. Before joying the HPA in 2012, Stefan van Eijden worked for several years as a technical account manager at Microsoft Germany and as a team leader in the IT infrastructure at Dataport. His professional foundations lie in police training, which perhaps explains his high affinity for cyber security.

Ugur Simsek is Team Lead IT Security & Network Operations at HUGO BOSS AG and is an experienced IT security expert in senior management positions. In his current position, he is responsible for the implementation and operation of various IT security solutions and measures worldwide, the Cyber Defence Center, the topic of identity governance administration and all topics relating to the IT network of HUGO BOSS AG.

As the Information Security Officer, Ralf Kleinfeld has been responsible for ensuring overall information security at OTTO (GmbH & Co KG) since 2013. The computer science graduate with an MBA and network expert has more than 20 years of professional experience in various functions in the security sector. He regards information security as an attitude that cannot be bought exclusively through products, but must be considered appropriately and integrated into every solution from the very beginning. He lives this claim through his active participation in strategic projects, which deal, for example, with the further development of the business model and the differentiation of OTTO in the market. He also promotes security as part of the corporate culture within the organization and uses innovative measures and formats to raise employees' awareness of security issues in their day-to-day work. As the first winner of the CISO Award 2018, Ralf Kleinfeld is also involved in the professional association of CISOs, the CISO Alliance e.V.

Oliver Herrmann is 41 years old and lives near Kiel in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein. He has been working in various industries and projects in the field of cybersecurity and information security for almost 20 years. As Head of IT Security, Oliver Hermann works for Thales Deutschland GmbH Business Unit Naval. His team supports the projects and in-service business in the military-maritime environment during design-phase, documentation, technical verification of security controls and the accreditation process of systems. Challenges: To develop a professional team that has the skills and capacity to meet the future security requirements of military customers.

Jonas Dams is Business Development and Sales Manager at Friendly Captcha GmbH, a leading German provider of privacy-compliant bot protection solutions. Denis Böhm is a Data Security Architect at glueckkanja AG and supports organizations in effectively protecting data and securely meeting regulatory requirements. His focus is on the strategic and operational implementation of Microsoft‑based data protection and governance.

Bernhard Dunst has been working in the IT sector for over 20 years. He advises customers and partners in sales situations and specializes in technical consulting.

After studying computer science with a focus on operating systems and networks, Tobias Schlattmann spent almost two decades carrying out technical analyses on and in a Unix OS. A good five years ago, he switched to IT security, where he put his knowledge of detecting and investigating attackers to good use.

Jan-Niclas Strüwer is a Research Associate and Business Developer at Fraunhofer IEM in Paderborn. For more than 8 years he has been working on the topics of software architecture, software security, and automated quantification of software. In 2022, he graduated from the Software Campus development program for future IT executives. In his PhD he focuses on automatically quantify and predicting cybersecurity risk. In his work as Business Developer, he focuses on bringing the technical results of his research into industry. There his focus is the Software Product Health Assistant (SPHA), a fully automated tool suite to assess and communicate a product’s overall health.
