Dr Soo is a lived-experience AuDHD GP and Adjunct Associate Professor at Bond University, at the forefront of Australia’s shift towards GP-centric ADHD care across the lifespan. He was an invited speaker at the RACGP 64th Clinical Update (2025), has presented nationally with HealthEd, and is recognised for clinical teaching that is rigorous, neuro-affirming, and immediately usable in practice.

A/Prof Khoo is a GP with special interests in diabetes, lipidology, heart disease, COPD, metabolic disorder and muscle health. He is a conjoint Associate Professor at the School of Medicine at Western Sydney University, and also serves as a member of the Diabetes Obesity Metabolism Translational Unit (DOMTRU), the RACGP Diabetes and Obesity Management Specific Interest Groups, the Australian Diabetes Society, the Australian Atherosclerosis Society, and the ANZ Society for Sarcopenia and Frailty Research.

Dr Muñoz is a Melbourne-based GP dedicated to promoting the role of general practice in patient health and public health more broadly. She is Chair of the RACGP Victoria Council and an RACGP board member, has held advisory positions with the Victorian Department of Health and Safer Care Victoria, and has been a medical educator for over 12 years. She is particularly preoccupied with the wellbeing of general practice registrars, and of securing a high-quality general practice workforce for the future.

Dr Sherwen is an interventional and structural cardiologist who works at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and consults at Bayside Heart, Goulburn Valley Health and Werribee Heart. She was awarded the Australia and New Zealand Endovascular Therapies (ANZET) Scholarship for Structural Fellowship at the Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust, where she gained extensive experience in all aspects of structural heart intervention. Her special interests include coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease.

A/Prof Peña is a paediatric endocrinologist and clinical academic at Adelaide University and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on paediatric obesity and its complications, particularly type 2 diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based guideline development and translation to clinical practice.

Dr South is both a GP and dietitian with over 30 years’ healthcare experience. She has a specific interest in metabolic health, serves as Chair of the RACGP Obesity Management Specific Interest Group, and is a member of the RACGP Diabetes Specific Interest Group. She brings clinical, multidisciplinary, and lived experience to advancing metabolic health care and education in general practice.

Dr Leech is a Perth GP and director of the award-nominated Garden Family Medical Clinic. The Garden is a unique clinic that aims to revolutionise primary healthcare through a more inviting, calming, and non-clinical environment. He is a leading advocate for child and adolescent mental health, and advises national organisations, teaches future doctors, and represents general practice at state and federal levels.

Dr Koppe is a medical practitioner, writer and educator, and a long standing member of Dementia Training Australia’s GP education team. He facilitates reflective writing workshops that support compassion, connection and wellbeing in healthcare, and has presented his work nationally and internationally, including at leading academic institutions. He is also co-host of the nationally recognised podcast Dementia in Practice.

Dr Savery is a Brisbane based GP who works in clinical practice, residential aged care and medical education. She is passionate about the education and mentoring of GPs, particularly in the area of aged care and dementia. She works with Dementia Training Australia to increase GP’s confidence in the recognition and management of dementia.

Dr Silberberg is an experienced GP, GP supervisor and medical educator. He joined Dementia Training Australia as a medical educator in 2022. He has worked in many primary health sectors and currently works as a GP as the lead clinician at Rekindling The Spirit Health Service in Lismore (AMS).

Dr Samarawickrama Lucewicz is a specialist GP at MyHealth in Parramatta, a senior lecturer in general practice at the University of Sydney Baludarri (Westmead) Precinct, and Clinical Editor at Health Pathways Western Sydney. She holds several strategic advisory appointments across the sector, including at the RACGP, NSW Ministry of Health, and NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation. She loves all elements of general practice, including social and contextual complexity, and hopes to work together to place GPs at the forefront of a thriving Australian health system.

Prof Schlaich is a renal physician and a European Society of Hypertension (ESH)-accredited hypertension specialist. He has over 20 years of clinical experience focussing predominantly on hypertension management and directs Hypertension Services at the Royal Perth Hospital. He has a strong background in clinical research, particularly in the pathophysiology of hypertension and novel pharmacologic and interventional treatment approaches, and serves in leading capacities for various hypertension research organisations. He is passionate about implementing evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic strategies into primary care to improve outcomes for patients with hypertension.

Alta Schutte is Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at UNSW Sydney, and the Global Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Division of The George Institute for Global Health. She is internationally recognised as a leader in hypertension, having conceived and led major research programs in Australia and globally. She’s contributed over 500 publications to the peer literature, including in the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet and JAMA. She is a Trustee of the May Measurement Month global blood pressure screening initiative, an invited author of the Lancet Commission of Hypertension, and senior author of the 2020 International Society of Hypertension Global Hypertension Guidelines. She is Associate Editor of the journal, Hypertension, and has received numerous international awards for her work, including the 2022 American Heart Association’s Harriet Dustan Award, and 2023 Peter Sleight Excellence Award in Hypertension Clinical Research from the World Hypertension League. In Australia, she received the NHMRC’s Fiona Stanley Award for the highest ranked $5 million Synergy Grant, and was ranked by The Australian in 2023 and 2024 as the Leading Scientist in Australia in the field of Vascular Medicine. She is the Company Secretary of the Australian Cardiovascular Alliance, Co-Chair of the National Hypertension Taskforce of Australia, and Past President of the International Society of Hypertension.

A/Prof Lampe is a psychiatrist based in Newcastle, NSW, with clinical experience in both public and private practice. She currently works as a specialist coordinator of training in the psychiatry training program. Her areas of expertise include cognitive behaviour therapy, anxiety disorders and medical education. She is co-author of several books for both academic and general readerships. She is active in research and research supervision and has collaborated with GPs on many educational and research projects.
