Ana Casaca is an innovation leader with over 20 years of experience in technology transfer, corporate innovation, and ecosystem development. She began her career as a researcher in San Francisco under AICEP and Fulbright scholarships, later moving into industry to accelerate growth through technology, startups, and international collaboration. She holds a degree in Microbiology from the Portuguese Catholic University and an MBA from Porto Business School, where she is also an Invited Professor. She is additionally an Invited Associate Professor at ISEG and is currently completing the International Directors Programme (IDP) at INSEAD. Ana collaborates in several major European and National innovation programmes, supporting the identification of projects with strong scientific and societal potential. She is currently Director of Innovation at Galp, leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple geographies and advancing new value pathways for the energy transition.

Johan Krebbers is the Chief Technology Officer at Acuvate, where he guides digital engineering initiatives and supports organizations in adopting practical, scalable solutions across data, cloud environments, AI and governance through services and accelerators. Before joining Acuvate, Johan spent more than 15 years at Shell in senior technology leadership roles. He led the development of the OSDU Data Platform and the Open Footprint Data Platform, both of which set important standards for open and collaborative data practices in the energy industry. Johan has also been involved in Malaysia’s national 5G program, contributing to digital solution development across multiple industries. Known for his active participation in global technology communities and advisory networks, he brings technical depth, strategic insight, and hands-on leadership to conversations on the future of digital energy.

Jan Pedro Vis is the Director Materials Benelux at Renewi. In this role, Jan-Pedro guides Renewi’s waste-to-product strategy by coordinating the materials portfolio across the organisation and managing outbound sales. Jan-Pedro joined Renewi in November 2022 as PMI Director in the Netherlands. Before joining Renewi he was Global Business Director UV-Resins at Covestro and held various leadership roles at DSM such as Director Sustainability and Global Procurement Director. Since joining Renewi, Jan-Pedro has elevated product management and innovation and has built a strong reputation for his strong solution-driven mindset.

Heike Busse is a digital leader with a 20+ year footprint in the energy industry who believes technology is only excellent when it makes life genuinely easier for people. At E.ON — one of Europe’s largest energy providers serving 40+ million customers — Heike helps “making new energy work” a lived reality. As Global Head of User Excellence at E.ON Digital Technology, she translates the company’s purpose into practice – creating human-centric, scalable digital service excellence for over 80,000 employees across Europe. Heike has a background in marketing and economics, she combines commercial clarity with a deep understanding of human behaviour in digital service design. Her work starts from the human outwards – focusing on mental models, behaviours and the diversity of real users. Her impact pairs data and heart: +40 NPS points in two years, +30% first fix rate and –40% support tickets through automation, vendor redesign and UX coaching for 180+ DevOps teams. She also launched “MyHelp”, a GenAI-powered support platform transforming IT service experience. She is a Playmaker at heart: brave in decisions, progressive in approach and driven by tangible impact. With deep experience in CX/UX, GenAI adoption, BizDevOps, and operating model transformation, she champions to create high‑trust, high‑performance teams.

Chemical engineer by training, Afsaneh has a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada. Since joining BASF in 2012, she has held a variety of roles in R&D, market and business development, particularly within business units supplying materials to the packaging industry. In her current capacity, Afsaneh leads global Advocacy and Sustainability initiatives for Biopolymers at BASF. Afsaneh’s expertise and leadership extend well beyond BASF- she actively contributes as a technical expert within key industry organizations such as EUROPEN, CEFLEX, and 4evergreen. She also serves as a Board member of the European Bioplastic Association (EUBP) and chairs the Board at the Compostable by Design Platform (CbDP), a cross-value chain initiative dedicated to advancing circularity in compostable products.

Hans Kouwer is Industry Consulting Director for the Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division in the Europe, Middle-East, India, and Africa region. Hans has over 30 years of experience in the process industry. Hans joined Hexagon 18 years ago after many years of industrial experience. Hans has extensive experiences with advising business organizations how their day-to-day business processes can benefit from effective information management and digital transformation. Hans is Dutch and based out of the Netherlands.

Rob Allen is an IE&M Sales Expert at Dassault Systèmes, specialising in digital transformation solutions. With a deep understanding of industrial processes and complex engineering challenges, Rob helps clients improve operational efficiency, enhance sustainability performance and accelerate innovation. Based in the UK, the works closely with organisations across the Infrastructure, Energy and Materials sector in Europe to define strategic roadmaps, optimise business processes and deliver measurable business outcomes. Rob is known for his consultative approach and the ability to translate customer challenges into high-value digital solutions.
