Jonathan has helped over 500 enterprises transform their business with AWS Cloud. Previously having spent 17 years at Capital One as the UK Divisional CTO helping lead their journey to cloud. Jonathan is a frequent speaker and write, co-authoring the AWS book Reaching Cloud Velocity.

<p>With close to 20 years of experience in the life insurance industry, Joe is a tenured industry professional with experience in actuarial, finance, in-force management, capital, planning, and product management.  Starting out in Philamlife back in 2004, Joe took on progressively senior technical and management roles as he moved to AXA, Manulife, FWD and finally to InLife as Chief Product & Innovation Officer.</p>

Jonathan was appointed as Swiss Re Corporate Solutions&amp;#39 CEO of Asia Pacific in July 2017, having previously held the role of Head South East Asia. Based in Singapore, Jonathan will oversee the business and implement the company&amp;rsquos expansion strategy in Asia Pacific. He will also extend Corporate Solutions&amp;#39 reach with brokers and clients in the region, providing local access to traditional insurance offerings as well as innovative solutions and services. Jonathan is an experienced commercial insurance executive and has held positions in Europe, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to joining Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Jonathan worked for Zurich Insurance Group where he was Country CEO and CEO of General Insurance for Zurich&amp;rsquos operation in Singapore, overseeing the Singapore market and selected countries in Asia. Jonathan worked for the company in London, Zurich and Hong Kong.

Jong Tong Foo is the Regional VP for APAC at Nexar Ltd, which creates a vision-AI based digital twin based on its dash-cam network. This supports insurance innovation, including collision reconstruction that determines the actions of all parties involved. Nexar is also the number one seller of smart dash cams in the US, and its Nexar One camera is at the center of an innovative fleet offering.Jong Tong has held leadership roles in local, multi-national and startup companies. Previously, he was the Head of Sales APAC for Shift Technology, a world leading insurtech company and a unicorn with HQ in Paris, France. Prior to Shift, he was with Microsoft Singapore leading the Public Sector and Business Dev. Under IBM, he was the IBM Integration and Sales Leader for IBM APAC (inc Greater China Group). He steered business investments, business-building requirements and established teams across APAC to grow the IBM SoftLayer Cloud business. Prior to that, he was the Strategy Leader and GM for Government and Healthcare Industry under IBM Singapore. He is recognized as a Fellow by the Singapore Computer Society.

<p>Joseph is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Verge HealthTech Fund focusing on early-stage healthcare technology companies that make an impact on global health. Prior to this, Joseph was a scientist researching new cancer therapies, a medical device entrepreneur, and a management consultant for Oliver Wyman where he led life sciences and digital health across Asia. He has 19 scientific publications, 3 patents, and has made investments in 29 healthcare technology companies to date.</p> <p>Joseph has a PhD from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.</p>

<p>Joseph Yew is the Chief Information Officer at MSIG Asia. MSIG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. Ltd., and a member of the MS&amp;AD Insurance Group Holdings Inc., one of Asia's leading general insurance brand with over 40,000 employees and presence in 50 countries and regions globally.</p> <p>Joseph is accountable for the current and future state of technology at MSIG Asia across fourteen markets in the region. His remit includes delivering technology solutions and services, supporting digital transformation and development efforts, and to ensure that all business units practise good technology governance.</p> <p>Outside of his day job, Joseph sits in the Steering Committee of the Centre for Smart Platform Infrastructure Research on Integrative Technology (SPIRIT) at the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore (NTU). The SPIRIT Centre contributes to the nation&rsquo;s Smart Nation vision with translational research through the fast solutioning and prototyping of applications in the areas of AI and Data Science, Machine &amp; Deep Learning, Image &amp; Video Analytics, and more.</p> <p>Joseph has over twenty-five years of experience in technology. Prior to joining MSIG, Joseph</p> <p>had held positions as the Director in charge of technology covering eight government agencies and organs of state in Singapore, acted as the Chief Technology Officer at Singapore&rsquo;s Supreme Court, Chief Information Officer at the Ministry of Law, and the Regional Chief Information Officer at Credit Suisse Asset Management.</p> <p>Joseph holds an MBA from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.</p> <p>Joseph has always been passionate about technology and believes in the power of technology in enhancing the quality of life.</p>

Joseph has a track record of thrice orchestrating the hyper-growth trajectory of companies with ambition in Asia. He is currently serving as General Manager Asia Pacific and Japan, for OpenLegacy, a leading integration solution provider for Fortune 1000 enterprises. Prior to OpenLegacy, Joseph held senior leadership positions in global systems integrators such as HP Enterprise and IBM. As a thought leader in IT integration and cloud computing realms, Joseph speaks regularly to corporate leaders on accelerating the digital transformation journey of their organizations. He is passionate about the success of his customers and is a firm believer in building long-term partnerships for any business. Joseph holds a B.A.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. He has a P.Eng. license and can practice as a Professional Engineer in Canada.

Joshia is a Principal at Integra Partners. He invests in and partners with technology entrepreneurs that drive access and affordability to responsible financial services and digital healthcare in South and Southeast Asia. Within financial services, he leads investments for insurance and web 3.0. sub-verticals. Joshia holds a CEMS Masters in International Management from London School of Economics and Political Science and Ivey Business School a Masters in Science (Management) and Bachelor of Business Administration, from National University of Singapore.

<p>Joyce graduated from the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Economics & Finance, she has 18 years of experience in financial analysis, asset mgt & wealth mgt. Before joining Shangyong, she worked at Ernst & Young in Hong Kong, responsible for auditing and IPO financial consulting, then she worked for multiple trust companies and financial institutions, in charge of developing financial products. </p> <p> </p>

<p>Juan is a director at Celent and head of the insurance practice for EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. He is responsible for global research and advice to C-level executives in the financial services industry, on themes such as fintech, insurtech, innovation, emerging technologies, and business transformation. He has been part of and has accompanied the launch and evolution of various innovative initiatives and business models in the financial services industry, including the first reinsurance exchange in Latin America, a direct insurance brand in the .com era, and most recently, the design and construction of a digital direct insurer and greenfield (re)insurance initiatives. Juan&rsquo;s career spans more than 30 years in the insurance and banking IT industries. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, contributor to many conferences, and evaluator for technology competitions. He is also a professor, a mentor, and the President and Co-founder of the Miami Insurtech Advocates (MIA) Hub.</p>

<p>As a Senior Associate at Openspace Ventures, Juancho sources investment opportunities and oversees the firm's portfolio companies in the Philippines.</p> <p>Before joining, he was an Associate at Primeiro Partners, a leading independent investment bank in the Philippines, where he advised clients in the real estate, technology, agriculture and financial services sectors. He was also previously a part-time faculty member at the Finance & Accounting Department of the John Gokongwei School of Management at the Ateneo de Manila University.</p> <p>Juancho holds a BS Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University (graduated cum laude) and passed all three levels of the CFA exam.</p>

<p>Jubin joined Tune Protect in 2022 as the Chief Executive Officer of Tune Protect Malaysia, the general insurance arm of the Group. In this role, Jubin brings with him a broad and extensive technical and leadership experience in the Financial Services and Technology space to transform Tune Protect Malaysia into a progressive organisation moving forward.</p> <p>Jubin has more than 18 years of experience under his belt, most of which was in the banking industry particularly in India, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Jubin has worked with Standard Chartered Bank and HDFC Bank in the past. He has extensive banking experience in Ecosystem banking, Supply Chain Financing, Cross-border Trade, SME banking and Digital Lending.</p>

Kenneth Lai is the Chief General Insurance Officer of AXA Hong Kong and Macau. He oversees the General Insurance business and P&amp;C operations and is responsible for driving growth through leading sales and distribution as well as digital transformation.<br /> Kenneth joined AXA in 2020 and was appointed as Chief General Insurance Officer in 2021. With a strong commitment to innovation in General Insurance and P&amp;C products and proposition, he strengthens and sustains AXA Hong Kong and Macau&rsquo;s leading position in the market through strategic expansion of distribution channels and optimising business portfolio.<br /> Prior to joining AXA Hong Kong and Macau, Kenneth was the Head of Operations Service for Life and General Insurance business in Zurich Insurance. He led a significant transformation of Hong Kong business by consolidating Life and General Insurance operations to achieve a more customer centric and better performing operation.<br /> Kenneth has over 15 years of experience in the insurance sector. He held several key roles in Hong Kong and overseas at Zurich Insurance, including Asia Pacific Underwriting Quality and Governance Manager, Technical Underwriting Manager and Reinsurance Manager of Zurich Insurance in Singapore. His previous role as the Head of Distribution Service, General Insurance allowed him to develop and manage strategic partnership initiatives with a number of life insurers, business renewal as well as broker and agency management.<br /> Kenneth obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with 1st class honour from The University of Hong Kong. He earned a MBA degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Master degree of Insurance and Risk Management from Deakin University in Australia. He also holds an ANZIIF (Fellow) CIP qualification.

Kenneth started his career as a financial analyst at Standard Chartered Singapore, obtaining his Level III CFA certificate after graduating from National University of Singapore with a Business degree. Later, as an Artificial Intelligence engineer at AI Singapore, he began to further refine his skills in marrying finance and technology. He brings his banking experience to Planner Bee&rsquos marketplace, helping the app&rsquos logic in assessing different financial products. And with his machine learning capabilities, he has been the brain behind the database and the backend engine powering Planner Bee.

Kevin Hoong is the CEO and Co-Founder of Oyen, a pet insurance and wellness company based in Southeast Asia. Prior to founding Oyen, he was the General Manager for Homage Malaysia, an on-demand nursing care health tech startup and was also an early employee of Airbnb Asia. Kevin is a Diploma holder with the Chartered Insurance Institute and graduated from University College London.

<p>Kevin is an experienced Management Consultant, Director and Board Advisor with over 20 years of experience in Asia Pacific.</p> <p>In NCS, Kevin oversees and manages our Global Insurance Practice and leads the Financial Services business portfolio in HK. Our engagement with clients ranges from digital, cloud, data &amp; AI driven consulting and provision of end to end IT services for insurers, banks, capital market firms, FinTech and finance regulators.</p> <p>Over the years, Kevin has consulted many local and global clients in Australia, Singapore, UK and China with Accenture, A.T. Kearney &amp; FranklinCovey. He also gained his corporate experience with QBE Insurance where he headed up its Australian operations' Business Planning and Governance functions.</p> <p>In his spare time, Kevin likes to participate in business &amp; entrepreneurial forums as a keynote speaker, judge or mentor. He also likes to support his community by giving back to Not for Profit organizations as advisors on Boards to help them grow strategically.</p>
