I am a quantitative ecology researcher passionate about conserving biodiversity. I employ quantitative tools and data-driven approaches to understand and protect ecosystems and species at broad spatial scales. My research covers the fields of biogeography, macroecology, and remote sensing. I currently work at James Cook University on developing new maps of ecosystem distributions as part of the Global Ecosystem Atlas. I have a Bachelor of Science (Zoology) and a Master of Science (BioSciences) from the University of Melbourne. My PhD thesis examined how to bring together data and knowledges for biodiversity conservation with Indigenous peoples in Australia.
