Alyssa Owens is a doctoral candidate at the Rochester Institute of Technology under the guidance and involvement of Dr. Satish Kandlikar in the Thermal Analysis, Microfluidics and Fuel Cell Lab. She received her BS and MS in mechanical engineering at RIT with a focus in flow boiling applications. During her PhD, she joined the breast cancer project and has been focusing on clinical screening and thermal simulation.
