Colin heads the Planning and Environmental Group at law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn. He is recognised for his industry expertise in the clean energy sector and is currently involved in a large number of renewable energy projects both off and onshore throughout the UK. Colin has substantial experience in advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious planning matters. On the contentious side, he represents clients at Public Inquiries, Hearings and advises on Court challenges to planning decisions. Colin is recognised by the Law Society of Scotland as an accredited specialist in planning.
