David Weiß studied computer science and his minor subject was philosophy at the Goethe-Universitity Frankfurt. Since 2008 he has been working as a research assisstant at the Goethe-University Frankfurt. In studiumdigitale, the main elearning center of the university, his field of work is the media production and media technology. His main tasks are the development of the authoring tool LernBar and the management of a lot of media production projects. In his research he engages with the topics authoring tools and Web 2.0-applications especially in the context of collaborative content production.
