Dr. Giuma Abusrewil is a Professor of Horticulture specializing in fruit tree production with the Cooperative Extension Integrated Small Farm Outreach Program (ISFOP) at Lincoln University of Missouri. He completed his graduate studies at the University of California, Davis, and Washington State University, Pullman. Dr. Abusrewil has extensive experience in education, research, student advising, and service on numerous scientific committees. He currently serves full-time in extension, working closely with growers to support sustainable and profitable fruit production systems. At the Missouri Organic Association Conference, Dr. Abusrewil will present fruit tree production, covering topics from seed propagation and site selection to planting, pruning and training, grafting, fruit thinning, and harvesting.
