Jim Marrone is an economist at the RAND Corporation in Washington, DC. His research focuses on the economics of national security, including the game theory of information operations, the risks of technology platforms, and terrorist/extremist financing. His writing and interviews on these topics have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Barron’s, and the Freakonomics podcast, among other outlets.
