Radek Frič has been an active neurosurgeon since 1997 and has been affiliated with Dept. of Neurosurgery at Oslo University Hospital-Rikshospitalet in Oslo, Norway, as a senior consultant neurosurgeon since 2005. He is also a leader of the Paediatric Neurosurgical Research Group at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, University of Oslo/Oslo University Hospital, and a clinical researcher at the KG Jebsen Centre for Brain Fluid Research at the University of Oslo. He is currently serving as Chair of the Section of Pediatric Neurosurgery in the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies. He is also a member of the executive boards of both the European and the International Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery. His clinical and scientific interests include cerebrovascular, tumor, and pediatric neurosurgery. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters, and is a frequent presenter at international scientific meetings as well as a lecturer in postgraduate courses of pediatric neurosurgery.
