Dr. Shirvan has over 25 years of industry experience. Previously served as Senior Vice President of R&D at Foamix Pharmaceuticals Ltd., CEO at Macrocure Ltd., and held various positions at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries. He was a research fellow at the U.S. National Institutes of Health and holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from the University of Bradford.

Tony Tran, PhD is a Clinical Scientist at Kura Oncology with a multidisciplinary background spanning biophysics, medicine, and translational oncology research. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biophysics from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Biophysics from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute (SUNY Buffalo). He subsequently completed two years of medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine prior to pivoting his career to clinical research. Tony began his clinical research career conducting clinical trials with the US DoD (vaccines) and the Robert H Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University (hematology-oncology). He later transitioned to industry, contributing to oncology clinical development programs at Ascendis Pharma, ALX Oncology, and Synthekine. At Kura Oncology, Tony focuses on advancing innovative, mechanism-driven therapies designed to improve outcomes for patients with cancer.

Federico Innocenti, MD, PhD, is an oncologist and clinical pharmacologist specialized in clinical trials and early drug development in oncology. He served as Chair of the Gastrointestinal Solid Tumor Correlative Science Group in the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology for 10 years. Dr. Innocenti spent collectively 20 years as a faculty at the University of Chicago and University of North Carolina. More recently, Dr. Innocenti joined AbbVie in the early development group in 2021 and subsequently BeOne Medicines in 2024 in the clinical development group for solid tumors working on RAS.

Dr.WuYizhe is the head of drug discovery at HealZen Therapeutic with 10 years of experience in innovative drug. Dr.Wu specialized in development of small molecule inhibitor and protein degrader targeting oncology and immune & I inflammation diseases. Dr.Wu holds a Ph.D degree in chemistry from university of HongKong and has led the development of 5 drug candidates into clinical stage.

Dr. Varkaris is a physician scientist at the Mass General Cancer Center and a dedicated member of the Termeer Center for Targeted Therapies. His career has been marked by a dual commitment to direct patient care and pioneering translational research. Half of his efforts are devoted to administering early clinical trials of investigational agents targeting growth factor receptor signaling (FGFR2, PIK3CA and KRAS) , while the remaining time is focused on unraveling mechanisms of resistance to these agents and developing rational combination therapies that may benefit patients.
