Lieven Vandersypen (Leuven, Belgium, 1972) studied Mechanical Engineering at the KU Leuven and received a MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University (2001). After that Lieven moved to TU Delft, the Netherlands, where he was appointed as Antoni van Leeuwenhoek professor in 2006. Lieven leads a group that pioneered quantum computers based on semiconductor technology. Prof. Vandersypen is a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and the Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities (KHMW), was a member of the Young Academy of the KNAW, and is a fellow of the American Physical Society (APS). Lieven received the IUPAP Young Scientist Prize for Semiconductor Physics, the Nicholas Kurti European Science Prize, and the Spinoza Prize, the highest scientific award in the Netherlands.

Joshua Rubin is an Emmy winning industry veteran who’s worked in Video Games, Film, TV Comics, Live Immersive and XR. He is Founder and Creative Director of Subverse Narrative Consulting, where he designs immersive worlds and interactive narratives for global IPs. His credits range from Assassin’s Creed II (Ubisoft) to Destiny (Bungie) to The Walking Dead (Telltale Games), and many more. In 2022, he won an Interactive Emmy for writing and producing Netflix’s You vs. Wild: Out Cold. Currently, he serves as Narrative Lead on Orion Drift, the new title from the creators of Gorilla Tag, the first $100 million VR game. He spends most of his time co-raising two feral humans and a quite civilized cat deep in the woods by the Hudson River.

With decades of experience working in the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology, science and design, and an award-winning entrepreneur, Cecilia is currently founder and CEO of Futurity Systems, providing futures-as-a-service to help companies and organizations to build better futures faster, together. Cecilia is currently a PhD researcher at Illinois Institute of Technology on her thesis on Algorithmic Futuring. Cecilia Tham is a Harvard-trained designer, formerly a Social Technologist at Alpha Telefonica, Europe’s first moonshot factory, and a serial entrepreneur, founded multiple companies such as Makers of Barcelona, FabCafe and allWomen.tech. She served previously as advisor to UN World Food Program X, SXSW, as well as for the City Government of Barcelona and other private companies.

Kunstenaar Jeroen van der Most, of kortweg MOST, ondertekende ooit een schilderij van $3,2 miljoen dat hij niet gemaakt had en maakt sindsdien kunstwerken met AI, smeltende ijskappen en quantum systemen.
